Seashell from the album Naive WRITTEN BY MICKY BRAUN AND DUSTIN WELCH I saw the other tab on here for this and while I like it, I wanted to play in key with the song, so here's what I got. I think it's pretty accurate. Hope you enjoy it as much as I do, it's a great song. C Am C - To play the walk to : hit the 5th string 3rd fret (top note of ) then 5th string 2nd fret Am then hit the open 5th string with hand in - I haven't tabbed the solo yet, but it's mostly variations of the 2nd & 3rd fret of the bottom two strings from what I've got so far, will try and get it here soon - The song sounds best if you pick the chords not strum them Capo 4 -Verse 1- C WE DON'T EVER REALLY TALK GF AND I GUESS THAT'S ALRIGHT WITH ME C A A SEASHELL SITS ON TOP ROCK GF YOU KNOW THAT'S WHERE I HIDE MY KEY -Chorus- C AC walk to COME THE LIGHT OF DAY AG [F I WATCH YOU TAKE YOUR THINGS AND GO AGC AND I CAN'T HARDLY SLEEP THROUGH THE NIGHT ANYMORE -Verse 2- C YOU WORK HARD AND YOU GET BY GF BUT YOU NEVER CAN QUITE GET AHEAD C BUT SOME HOW HERE IN MY ARMS GF YOU EASE YOUR MIND AND REST YOUR HEAD AC COME THE LIGHT OF DAY AGF I WATCH YOU TAKE YOUR THINGS AND GO AGC AND I CAN'T HARDLY SLEEP THROUGH THE NIGHT ANYMORE -Instrumental solo- (in lieu of the tab, these chords work pretty well) C GC C GF (hammering on/off pinky 1st string 3rd fret) , (hammering) --- play this twice C AC AGF AGC walk to , , -Bridge- FC AS I LAY HERE WHILE YOU ARE SLEEPING SOUND FC I CAN'T HELP BUT WONDER IF THIS IS THE LAST TIME G YOU'LL COME AROUND C MAYBE I SHOULD KNOW BETTER GF IT DOESN'T REALLY MATTER AT ALL C I CAN'T WAIT TO HEAR THE DOOR KNOB TURN GF YOUR FOOTSTEPS SOFTLY DOWN THE HALL AC COME THE LIGHT OF DAY AGF I WATCH YOU TAKE YOUR THINGS AND GO AGC AND I CAN'T HARDLY SLEEP THROUGH THE NIGHT ANYMORE C AGC walk to NO I CAN'T HARDLY SLEEP THROUGH THE NIGHT ANYMORE -Outro- C AGC Played the same as the Instrumental above but add walk to to the very end
