By Jack Ingram Cadd9 X32013 G Cadd9 G Gadd9 Old man Crow goes down to the river G Cadd9 G Gadd9 Gonna fish himself a full days work G Cadd9 G Gadd9 Been fishing the same old pond nearly all his life G Cadd9 G Got his name engraved right there in the dirt F G Gonna take his catch down to market F G gonna bring that money back home F G Hes putting bread on the table FC G Hes doing his job Old mans buddy comes down to the river Hes gonna talk himself a full days work Hes been fishing for the love of the pond nearly all his life He dont mind at all getting down in the dirt His wife calls at the end of the day His child stumbles downtown to play Hes gonna sit in the yard for awhile Hes feeling no pain Solo The river bed man has seen some changes Going from paddle boats to gasoline He dont mind at all about no dirty water As long the sun comes up and those fish get cleaned Dont need no millionaires daughter Dont need no millionaires wife Hes got that millionaires money Notched in the pole of the fishermans life
