I think this song has the greatest number of cool riffs ever found in a KISS song. Not sure who's who here since the stuff on the right sound mostly like Ace in Rhy. Fig 2 (the way he plays those open D's to keep time) and the almost total lack of hammer-ons and pull-offs during Rhy. Fig 1 which isn't really like Paul (and the guitar on the left uses hammer-ons and pull-offs to play that), but the little lead licks that the left side plays during Rhy. Fig 5b isn't quite Paulish. Either way, this is good teamwork. When they add that litte harmony (first a 5th then a 3rd) right before the solo... Oh man. Also, watch out for that bar of 9/8 in Rhy. Fig 6a and b. I've always wondered why that riff felt so uncomfortable and now I know.
